From the pages of What If…? issue 105! The first series to star May “Mayday” Parker, the Stunning Spider-Girl! The original series has the distinction of being the longest-running superhero comic book with a female lead in Marvel’s long publishing history. With an outpouring support, the title was saved from multiple cancellations by its legion of fans. The series introduced us to more of Mayday’s world as we met up with the mysterious Darkdevil, a new Spider-Man, the redemption of Normie Osborn, and the introduction of the Black Tarantula with his rise to Kingpin of Crime.
