ITEM # Micronauts – The New Voyages # 1 - 20

The Micronauts: The New Voyages

The Micronauts: The New Voyages is a science fiction comic book series published by Marvel Comics in the early 1980s, serving as a continuation of the original Micronauts run. Written by Peter B. Gillis with art by Kelley Jones, the series launched in October 1984 and expanded the adventures of the heroic team within the Microverse, a subatomic dimension filled with cosmic threats, political struggles, and surreal landscapes. Known for its more experimental tone and mature themes compared to its predecessor, The New Voyages explored philosophical ideas alongside space opera action. Though it lasted only 20 issues, the series is remembered for its bold storytelling and distinct visual style, making it a cult favorite among Marvel’s 1980s sci-fi titles.

Created by writer Louise Simonson and artist June Brigman, they first appeared in their own series in 1984, which lasted 62 issues, and have since appeared in other books.[1] Power Pack is the first team of pre-teen superheroes in the Marvel Universe and the first team of heroes in comics to feature characters of that age operating without adult supervision.
