REAL FACT COMICS # 1 - 21

Real Fact Comics was an educational American comic book series published by early iterations of DC Comics, including World's Best Comics, Inc., Detective Comics, Inc., and National Comics Publications. It ran for 21 issues from March/April 1946 to July/August 1949 and aimed to present educational content about historical figures and scientific topics, alongside some science fiction stories. Notably, it introduced the character Tommy Tomorrow and featured early work by famous creators Jack Kirby and Joe Simon. One particular issue (#5) included a story about the "true" origins of Batman, crediting Bob Kane, which has been noted for its loose relationship with historical accuracy. The series struggled with poor sales despite its educational intent and was a part of the post-war push for less lurid comic content. It also hosted the earliest known published work of science fiction writer Harlan Ellison. The comic represented DC's only entry into the educational comic genre at the time, which was spawned partly as a response to criticism against comics in the 1940s.

ITEM # Deadenders # 1 - 16

Deadenders
Deadenders
Their whole world is on life-support and they're about to self-destruct. They're an angst-ridden gang of teenagers living in a nuclear wasteland where one deserted neighborhood is worse than the next. Loaded with attitude, Bartholemew Beezenback — a.k.a. Beezer — is Sector 5's gang leader: a cocky teenager who spends most of his time cranked up on "amp," riding his scooter and dodging his large family as well as the corrupt CityCorps cops. He spends his time dealing drugs, igniting street riots, repossessing cars and arguing with his girlfriend, but his once-exciting, edgy life is about to go from accelerated to overload. Because not only has Beezer been harboring a nasty secret (strange "visions" of a world with blue skies and sunlight) that's about to burst into the open, but, as the series unfolds, he's going to discover an unbelievable truth about himself that could propel him from life as a hyped-out delinquent to that of a reluctant hero. Beezer could be his world's savior...that is, if his world lasts long enough. Blade Runner meets Quadrophenia in a dank, futuristic landscape that has been dramatically altered since an earth-shaking event no one seems to remember. While doomsterism and environmental diseases plague most of its denizens, those wealthy enough to live in the "rich" sectors revel in what passes for utopia, a place where enormous weather machines occasionally spew artificial sunlight and books are as rare as royalty.

ITEM # Daytripper # 1 - 10

Daytripper Comic

They were two of Entertainment Weekly's Top 100 stars to watch. They've won multiple Eisners and have worked with the top names of comics and pop culture from Joss Whedon (Sugar Shock) and Mike Mignola (BPRD: 1947) to Gerard Way (Umbrella Academy) and Matt Fraction (Casanova). Now, Brazilian wonder twins Fábio Moon and Gabriel Bá return with DAYTRIPPER, a hauntingly lyrical series set in their native Brazil. Following in the tradition of master cartoonists like Craig Thompson, Paul Pope, and David Mazzucchelli, they craft a story about quiet moments that ask life’s biggest questions. Brás de Oliva Domingos, an obituary writer burdened by his father’s fame and his own dissatisfaction, faces a twist in the first issue that transforms into a profound mystery about the meaning of life itself.

ITEM # 00 PROPHET VOL. 4 # 21 - 45

Prophet Vol. 4 Covers

The covers shown are from Prophet Vol. 4, issues #21–45 (2012–2016), the critically acclaimed reinvention of the 1990s Rob Liefeld character. This era was led by writer Brandon Graham, with major artistic contributions from Simon Roy, Giannis Milonogiannis, Farel Dalrymple, and others.

Departing from the superhero tone of the original, this volume became a sprawling, post-human space opera spanning centuries and lightyears. It follows not just one John Prophet but many genetically engineered versions, each awakening on distant worlds to take part in a grand plan to resurrect the Earth Empire. The storytelling is dense, non-linear, and atmospheric, relying heavily on visual world-building and minimal exposition.

Notable for its expansive alien ecosystems, shifting perspectives, and artistic experimentation, the series maintained a consistent tone while showcasing diverse styles. Its originality, surreal tone, and depth drew comparisons to European sci-fi like Métal Hurlant.

By its conclusion in issue #45, Prophet stood as one of Image Comics’ most inventive modern sci-fi sagas — a complete, self-contained epic that redefined what a legacy property could achieve.

Each storyline follows different characters—often antiheroes—whose paths intersect amid betrayal, brutality, and fleeting glimpses of redemption. Landmark arcs like The Hard Goodbye, A Dame to Kill For, and The Big Fat Kill have become essential works in gritty graphic storytelling, praised for their cinematic composition and razor-sharp dialogue. Beyond cementing Miller’s reputation as a master of the noir aesthetic, Sin City shaped the visual language of modern crime comics and inspired successful film adaptations, securing its lasting influence in pop culture.
