ITEM # Witching Hour (Collection) (1969-2000)


Witching Hour (Collection) (1969-2000) : The Witching Hour is a horror anthology series which features the three witches: Cynthia, Mildred and Mordred (The Furies) who collectively helps narrate the terrifying tales. Most issues feature a splash page which introduces the reader to the story and the horrific hosts. Most of the stories feature an ending linked to Midnight…otherwise known as The Witching Hour!
In 1978 the series was abruptly canceled in a company wide decision on cancellations which has become known as the DC Implosion. This series was merged with The Unexpected.

ITEM # Marvel’s Greatest Comics #23 – 96 (1969-1981)

This series was continued from Marvel Collectors’ Item Classics #1-22. It was a series that reprinted the Fantastic Four and other early Marvel titles such as Tales To Astonish, Spider-Man and Journey into Mystery before becoming solely devoted to the Fantastic Four.

ITEM # 0179 TOWER OF SHADOWS # 1 - 12

Marvel horror series from the 1970’s! The series continues as Creatures on the Loose from issue 10 and on. Tower of Shadows had one Tower Of Shadows King Size Special that was published a year after the series was renamed.

ITEM # 2980 ASTERIX # 1 - 40

Asterix or The Adventures of Asterix is a series of French comics. The series first appeared in the Franco-Belgian comics magazine Pilote on 29 October 1959. It was written by René Goscinny and illustrated by Albert Uderzo until the death of Goscinny in 1977. Uderzo then took over the writing until 2009, when he sold the rights to publishing company Hachette. As of 2015, 36 volumes have been released.

ITEM # 2949 JOE 90 - TOP SECRET # 1 - 34 + ANNUALS

Launched in 1969, as the titles produced by the partnership between Century 21 and City Magazines were beginning to struggle, Joe 90 Secret Agent featured the adventures of Gerry Anderson’s latest puppet star, the eponymous teenage secret agent Joe 90, with other strips adapting the ITC superhuman spy show The Champions, and American Sci-Fi series Land of the Giants and Star Trek, both original material rather than reprinting US comic adaptations. Joe 90 lasted thirty-four issues before being cancelled and merged into TV21 to form TV21 and Joe 90.
