After manipulating Madelyne Pryor and Magik, a horde of demons attack an unsuspecting Manhattan as the X-Men, X-Factor, New Mutants and Excalibur face the consequences. Meanwhile, Spider-Man, Daredevil and the Avengers are put through their paces as they attempt to defend New York from the growing demonic legions.
