Spawn: The Anti-Hero That Defined a Generation
Spawn is a fictional anti-hero appearing in the monthly comic book of the same name, published by Image Comics. The series includes annual compilations, mini-series, special issues written by guest creators, and numerous crossovers with other comic book characters.
Created by writer/artist Todd McFarlane, Spawn first appeared in Spawn #1 (May 1992). Over the years, he has become one of the most iconic independent comic book characters in history.
