Bubba the Redneck Werewolf #1 is a comic published by Brass Ball Comics in 1996. Created by Mitch Hyman, this satirical horror-comedy blends over-the-top humor, absurd action, and Southern cultural stereotypes. The story follows Bubba, a down-home country boy who sells his soul to the Devil to win back his girlfriend, only to become a werewolf. The series mixes outrageous plots with colorful, exaggerated art, often parodying horror tropes and popular culture. This debut issue set the tone for Bubba’s misadventures, earning a cult following for its unapologetically irreverent style.
